Michelle Cervantez

“Healing happens where hearts, hands, and nature meet.”

The moment you step onto Hendo Care Farm, the air feels different—softer, lighter. The rustle of leaves, the gentle breath of animals, and the wide-open sky seem to slow time itself. It’s here that Michelle Cervantez welcomes you, inviting you to pause, breathe, and reconnect with what matters most.

Michelle’s path to this place was shaped by a deep love of learning and guiding others. She earned her Master’s Degree in Teaching, inspiring students in public schools and abroad in Spain. But in 2013, another calling grew louder—the call of metaphysics, spirituality, and self-care. Becoming a Reiki Master-Teacher allowed her to merge her natural gift for teaching with a heartfelt mission to help others heal, grow, and discover their own inner strength.

When Michelle and her wife Amy purchased the farm in 2019 and became Foster Parents in 2020, they created more than a home—they built a sanctuary. Among the rolling pastures and the quiet companionship of animals, Michelle found the perfect space to unite her passions for wellness, nature, and community. By 2023, she fully stepped into her role as co-owner and CEO of Hendo Care Farm. In 2024, she expanded her offerings, becoming a certified Yoga Instructor and a Mindfulness and Social Emotional Learning Facilitator, bringing even more ways to nurture body, mind, emotions and spirit for kids and adults.

Whether you arrive seeking the grounding practice of yoga, or the calm wisdom of mindfulness, or the loving connection with animals and nature, Michelle will meet you with warmth, compassion, and an open heart. Here, at Hendo Care Farm you are surrounded by nature’s quiet magic, you’ll find space and offerings that Michelle put together for you so you can slow down, breathe deeply, and begin your own journey towards wellness and self-care.

To inquire about any of the programs, events and/or activities at Hendo Care Farm, to book a Reiki Treatment or to inquire about Reiki Certification (Levels I–Master), simply send Michelle a message through this website—she’ll personally respond with all the details.

Kel is the Founder, Director and Equine Specialist at E-volving Hearts Wellness Farm

They have a background in education and mental health and have worked professionally from public schools to residential treatment programs and everywhere in between before starting their own personal and professional coaching business.

“During this time I was exposed to the helping and healing powers of horses but didn't experience them directly until I began walking a long and hard journey with chronic illness and was forced to redesign my own life.  This is when we became partners and I became fully committed to helping them be in service to others.  Through E-volving Hearts, I emphasize supporting educators, wellness professionals, parents, and those navigating chronic illness with a holistic, nervous system centered approach that is an integration of my personal and professional experiences and wisdom.  I am dedicated to supporting the adults who have accepted the responsibility of raising our young people, especially those we call "Super Feelers".

“In our time together with the horses, we're going to work on figuring out healthy boundaries, learn more about what we need from relationships, and explore some coping skills that might help us stay centered during times of stress. It's going to be engaging, you'll learn something about yourself, and most importantly - you'll get to spend time with some of the sweetest ponies in the world.”
